MetroPrime Painters Warranty

At MetroPrime Painters, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. Our Limited Warranty reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional results that are as durable as they are beautiful. Designed to give you peace of mind, this warranty ensures that your paint job is protected from workmanship-related issues while also addressing material concerns through manufacturer warranties. With high-quality products and our meticulous preparation process, you can trust that your investment is safeguarded.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our four (4) year limited warranty covers workmanship-related issues, provided they are not caused by underlying structural problems or excluded conditions:

Peeling or Blistering: Coverage applies if proper surface preparation was completed and the issue results from improper application rather than external factors.

Chalking: Excessive chalking due to paint failure is covered under our warranty.

Cracking or Flaking: This warranty covers cracking or flaking caused by improper application.

Extreme Fading: While some fading is natural over time, excessive fading that occurs within the warranty period is covered.

Materials Warranty:
All paints and materials used in your project are covered under the respective manufacturer’s warranty (Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Dunn-Edwards). If an issue arises related to the materials, we will assist you in navigating the claims process with the manufacturer.

Our Preparation Process

We believe in a thorough preparation process to ensure lasting quality. Our preparation includes the following steps:​

Complete Surface Inspection: Evaluation of the area for cracks, peeling, or other imperfections.

Power Washing: Removal of dirt, mildew, and old paint to ensure a clean surface.

Caulking and Sealing: Careful sealing of gaps and cracks to protect against moisture intrusion and ensure a smooth finish.

Priming: Use of high-quality primers where necessary for improved adhesion and durability.

Protective Covering: Landscaping, windows, and non-painted surfaces are carefully covered to prevent overspray or paint splatters.

Final Walkthrough: After the project is complete, we conduct a thorough walkthrough to ensure every detail meets our high standards.

Warranty Exclusions

Our warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by internal leaks or moisture intrusion from plumbing or structural defects.

Natural weathering, including minor fading due to sun exposure.

Structural shifts or settling that impact the paint’s adherence.

Any issues caused by conditions outside of MetroPrime Painters' control or manufacturer defects (covered under the manufacturer’s warranty).

Claiming Your Warranty

If you experience any workmanship-related issues covered by our Limited Warranty within the four-year warranty period, please contact us at primefamily@metroprimepainters.com to schedule an inspection. Our team will assess the problem, and if it falls within our warranty coverage, we will make any necessary repairs or touch-ups free of labor charge.

Please note: In order to make a valid warranty claim, you will need to have proof that you paid the original contract in full. You are also responsible for paying for all materials used to perform the repairs once we've validated your warranty claim.
